PROGRAM

In the days leading up to Pharmacy Connect 2024, the last tranche of the Federal Labor Government’s 60-day PBS supply policy will be implemented. If a pharmacy does nothing to address this threat to their pharmacy’s viability, they will go backwards. Doing nothing is not an option! This is what has shaped this year’s conference program.

The program will cover the following key issues:

  • The Eighth Community Pharmacy Agreement will begin 1 July 2024 and there will be a number of transitional arrangements that will need to be addressed. Each pharmacy will need to review their business priorities in terms of programs to be implemented and management issues to be addressed.
  • Incremental viability builders to bridge the profit shortfall, from retail categories and strategies to explore through to professional pharmacist programs, both government-funded and private.
  • As state and territory governments make more announcements on pharmacists practising at full scope, this will be the event to show you how to review, engage and implement.
  • Industry launches.
