Emeritus Professor S.I. (Charlie) Benrimoj was the Foundation Professor of Pharmacy Practice (1991), Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy (2000-2005), Pro-Vice Chancellor (Strategic Planning) (2006-2011) University of Sydney and Director and Head of Graduate School of Health at the University of Technology Sydney (2011-2018). He is currently a consultant academic and a visiting professor at the University of Granada. His research interests encompass the future and the delivery of professional pharmaceutical services from community pharmacy in current and emergent health services. Charlie has published over 240 papers in refereed journals, produced 47 major research reports and co-authored over 250 scientific conference presentations. He has been a keynote speaker at over 150 national and international conferences, was the Australian Pharmacist of the Year in 2000, and was awarded the Andre Bedat Award International Federation of Pharmacy (FIP), the highest award attainable by a pharmacist for significant international contribution to pharmacy practice.

Stuart Brandman has 20 years of expertise in accounting and business advisory, including 10 years with a large mid-tier accounting firm, before co-founding 542 Partners in 2013. Stuart works with a range of businesses including pharmacies, in financial accounting, advisory, taxation and business planning matters. He specialises in providing virtual CFO services and real business solutions and advice to his clients. Jeffery Chu is a highly experienced pharmacist and educator, with a background spanning community pharmacy, the pharmaceutical industry, and not-for-profit organisation NPS Medicinewise, which has allowed him to tirelessly pursue his passion for patient and peer education. In his downtime, Jeffery likes to wear Lycra, grow his hair out, and enjoys collecting empty boxes, which may one day come in handy.

Belinda Duffy BAppSc (MedSc), BHSc (NutMed) began her academic career in Medical Science, before gaining her degree in Nutritional Medicine. She has been working in the field of complementary medicines for over 10 years, beginning her current role as Health Care Professional Education Officer with Metagenics in 2020. In this role, Belinda she shares her passion for nutrition with consumers and healthcare professionals, empowering them with the knowledge to live happier, healthier lives.

Kian Ghahramani is a Director of RSM Australia, with over 15 years’ experience in accounting, taxation, and business advisory. Outside of the usual compliance, he provides tax planning, strategic outsourcing, tax advice, and restructuring services to small business clients, both local and international, and specialises in Pharmacy services, Information Technology and Property and Construction. Kian’s involvement typically involves providing budgeting, cashflow, forecasting, tax planning and strategic advice to put his pharmacy clients on a growth path.

Andrew Hargreaves is an experienced director and clinician, with a broad leadership background across multiple roles and organisations. Andrew is currently acting as the Director, Pharmaceutical Operations in the Pharmaceutical Services Unit of the NSW Ministry of Health. In this role, he oversees the broad range of medicines and poisons regulatory functions that are administered by the Ministry. Prior to this, Andrew was the Director, Pharmaceutical Services Transformation, where he was responsible for the implementation of SafeScript NSW and the integration of this system into clinical practice as well as the regulatory operations of the Ministry. Andrew has broad experience in digital transformation, digital health safety and quality governance and a strong background as a clinical pharmacist in multiple jurisdictions.

Dr Jacinta Johnson FANZCAP (Edu. Research) is a credentialled Advanced Practice Pharmacist, currently working across roles as Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of South Australia and as Senior Pharmacist for Research within the SA Pharmacy. Dr Johnson has previous experience practicing as a specialist high dependency unit pharmacist, in medication safety and in clinical education at Flinders Medical Centre and in primary care, as a community pharmacist. Dr Johnson’s clinical specialty is pain medicine, with her PhD and subsequent research focusing upon quality use of pain medicines and new treatments for migraine. As a migraine sufferer herself, Jacinta is passionate about promoting the important role pharmacists can play in assisting patients with migraine to best manage their condition.

Daniel Kicuroski has been the NSW Branch Director of the Pharmacy Guild since 2022. In a diverse career spanning nearly 20 years, Daniel has held senior roles in government and member organisations including employer associations, trade unions and a medical college. He has led the general management function of an $87 million division of a government department, delivered significant COAG reform of the heavy vehicle sector and led successful advocacy campaigns. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Sydney, a Master of Business Administration from AGSM at the University of New South Wales and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ke Khoon Lee has always valued helping others and making a difference in the community. With over 20 years pharmacy experience, Ke now operates a Priceline Pharmacy with a reputation for a high standard of care and commitment to patient education. Colin Mendelsohn has worked as a clinician and academic in smoking cessation and harm reduction for 40 years. Colin was a Sydney GP for 27 years with a special interest in smoking cessation and then worked exclusively in tobacco treatment for 10 years, helping smokers to quit. He was a member of the expert advisory group that develops the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners national smoking cessation guidelines, the Founding Chairman of the Australian Tobacco Harm Reduction Association, a health promotion charity established to raise awareness of tobacco harm reduction options, and a past Vice President of the Australian Association of Smoking Cessation Professionals, Australia’s peak body for experts in the field of smoking cessation. Colin was also a Conjoint Associate Professor in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of New South Wales. Colin has no financial or commercial relationship with any electronic cigarette or tobacco company.

Dr Craig Nossel is the co-founder of Sciana Health and Evia Health, two health start-ups focusing on improving health outcomes. Craig was previously Head of Vitality Wellness for 16 years, during which time he helped develop the leading global incentive-based wellness program, Vitality, which now spans over 40 countries. He has also co-founded a behavioural economics consultancy that developed business strategies, designed new product offerings, and drove customer engagement for clients including health insurers, hospital and primary healthcare groups, healthtech companies, genetic and pharmaceutical companies, retailers, financial institutions, and educational organisations. Craig has held several board positions at non-for-profit organisations and is currently a board member of StrongroomAI and Hollard Group Risk.

Kos Sclavos AM was National President of The Pharmacy Guild of Australia from 2005 to 2013. He was the driving force behind many industry initiatives including Pharmacy of the Year and the Quality Care Pharmacy Program and led negotiations for the Fifth Community Pharmacy Agreement. He is currently the Systems Architect for PharmaPrograms, a pharmacist led, IT facilitated patient support program and a Senior Health Strategist with Sinapse. Kos has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Griffith University, a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and; an Honorary Life Membership of The Pharmacy Guild of Australia. In 2017, Kos was made a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) for ‘significant service to the pharmacy profession through a range of retail, advisory and executive roles, to education, and to community pharmacy’.

Amanda Seeto is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australasian College of Pharmacy. As a community pharmacy owner and a graduate of the Queensland Community Pharmacy Scope of Practice Pilot training, Amanda brings over 20 years of experience in the sector to the College to enable the industry to practice to its fullest scope. A former National Councillor for the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Amanda is also Deputy Chair of the Return of Unwanted Medicines Board and serves on various advisory committees including the national Scope of Practice Review, Seqirus, University of Queensland and Griffith University.

Lloyd Smith has co-founded multiple start-up businesses including community pharmacies, medical centres, property developments and software ventures, with a combined annual turnover in excess of $20m. Throughout his career, Lloyd has successfully tendered and received Commonwealth, State and other grants in excess of $1m. Lloyd currently holds multiple directorships, is a regular speaker at industry conferences and events, and provides in-depth industry knowledge and a commercial network built on years of successful commercial transactions. Lloyd’s passion for innovation and constructive disruption to better patient outcomes is critical to Scrypt’s current and ongoing success.

Trent Twomey was elected as National President of The Pharmacy Guild of Australia in March 2021. Trent has been involved with the Guild for over 10 years and was part of the successful negotiating team for the Sixth and Seventh Community Pharmacy Agreements. He is Secretary of the World Pharmacy Council, immediate Past Chairman and Director of Advance Cairns, a Professor at James Cook University, a Council Member of the Queensland Futures Institute, and a trustee for the Committee for Economic Development of Australia. Trent and his wife are both pharmacists and own a small group of pharmacies in Northern Queensland.

Mignon Van Der Walt has spent the past 15 years of her life crafting a career in pharmaceuticals across different continents and in a variety of sales and marketing management positions. Mignon played active roles during times of historic industry shift, such as codeine scheduling, and has more recently been involved in creating the Arrotex consumer portfolio. An MBA graduate, Mignon is the National Business Manager at Arrotex, where she is fiercely passionate about providing young females with a stepping-stone to thrive in industry.

Dr Hester Wilson BMed(Hon) FRACGP FAChAM MMH is a GP, Chief Addiction Specialist for NSW Health, Clinical Director for Murrumbidgee Drug and Alcohol and Clinical Advisor to Population and Community Health in South East Sydney LHD. She is chair of the RACGP Addiction Special Interest Group and a clinician with many years clinical and teaching experience. Hester is currently undertaking a PhD focused on GPs’ experience of patients with chronic pain and prescription opioid use disorder.

Peter Andrews is a Professional Officer, Advisor & Inspector with the Pharmacy Council of NSW and a pharmacist (general registration) with management, administration, education, research, advisory, regulatory and policy development experience in not-for-profit, public, and private sectors. Peter is also a registered pharmacist examiner for the Pharmacy Board of Australia Oral Examination (Practice) in New South Wales (NSW). Peter has delivered primary healthcare in metropolitan and rural settings and built the capability of pharmacists through practice support and education. Peter has consolidated his practice within regulatory frameworks relating to accreditation and more recently, in the context of access to cannabis medicines from both regulatory and research perspectives. Most recently, Peter has advanced his practice at the Pharmacy Council of NSW (Council) in its primary role to protect the public.

Nick Biggs is a pharmacist and the General Manager of Client Services at NostraData, where he leverages his 20 years of diverse experience in community, hospital, and industry pharmacy settings. A passionate advocate for community pharmacy, Nick is deeply committed to enhancing pharmaceutical care, services and pharmacists practicing to full scope. Under his leadership, Nick and the team at NostraData has been pivotal in delivering the Informacy portal to over 4,000 pharmacists to help individual pharmacy proprietors, groups, and the Pharmacy Guild identify the impact and advocate for change to support the industry he is so passionate about. They have also developed an industry first prescription loyalty platform – EchoRx - which helps pharmacists identify opportunities to better engage with customers to support prescription loyalty and better health outcomes.

Catherine Bronger is a respected leader in community pharmacy, known for her innovative approach and strong advocacy. As a key figure in her family’s ChemistWorks pharmacies, she has pioneered services such as Sleep Apnoea Clinics, Compounding Laboratories, and Diabetes Clinics. In her role as Senior Vice President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia (NSW) and Chair of the NSW Scope of Practice Subcommittee, Catherine has been instrumental in advancing regulatory changes to expand the role of pharmacists. Catherine also founded Rival Software, a tech company focused on developing workflow solutions including queue, e-script and e-commerce systems. Recently, she launched "Cat and Claudia's Community Pharmacy," Australia’s first digitally led, bricks-and-mortar pharmacy.

A community pharmacist and pharmacy owner, Carolyn Clementson primarily works as the Pharmacy Practice Manager at the Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse support office. In this role, Carolyn is responsible for QCPP accreditation, implementation of health programs and services, professional practice, professional education and regulatory compliance for the group. A former board director or the Australian College of Pharmacy, Carolyn is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, a previous Visiting Clinical Fellow at QUT and in 2019, was credentialled as an Advancing Practice Pharmacist (Stage II). A passionate advocate for community pharmacists working to their full scope of practice, Carolyn is currently undertaking training to participate in the Queensland Pharmacy Scope of Practice Pilot.

Kristina Fox is a proud community pharmacist who wants to revolutionise the industry. Dr David Jacka has worked in the area of public health for numerous years and in Alcohol and Illicit Drug misuse and Harm Reduction since 1993. From 2006 to 2012, David worked with the World Health Organization as a drug treatment specialist and advisor on HIV prevention programming for IDU and other risk groups in Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam. He also assisted in the writing of guidelines and training materials on assessment and treatment for users of illicit drugs in the Asian region. David’s areas of interest include acute illicit stimulant intoxication, improved methadone, buprenorphine and other opiate prescribing and the development of improved health and NSP services for people who inject drugs.

John Jones is the owner of My Community Pharmacy Shortland, an innovative pharmacy in New South Wales which offers Karitane infant health, podiatry, nutrition, Diabetes, nursing and Allied Health Services. The pharmacy also runs a buprenorphine depot injection clinic, opioid treatment program and medication compounding service. John is passionate about delivering patient focused services and his pharmacy’s major purpose is being an integral part of a healthcare team, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to improve the health of the community. John holds a Master of Pharmacy, Master of Business Administration, Nutrition and Dietetics and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education.

Jenny Kirschner has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare and pharmacy sector. She has worked as a clinical and retail pharmacist, a health coach for lifestyle modification programs and as a National Health Services Pharmacist delivering impactful and innovative health programs. Jenny is also the founder of PALS (Pharmacy Addressing Loneliness and Social isolation). Driven by her knowledge of the psychological and physical health effects of loneliness, Jenny is focused on educating the pharmacy and healthcare industry. She has been published in the Australian Journal of Pharmacy and has presented on loneliness to Monash University’s Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and at pharmacy industry conferences.

Johnson Lee is the Chief Pharmacist at the Pharmacy Guild NSW Branch, where he oversees regulatory compliance, clinical governance, and scope of practice. As a community pharmacist, Johnson has also conducted lectures and seminars for the University of Sydney in Pharmacotherapy, Legislation, and Pharmacy Management. Working within a national team leading the development and execution of the broader health sector strategy for Business Banking, Ben’s role focuses on the pharmacy industry strategy, insights and appetite. Nader Mitri is the General Manager at PharmaPrograms, where he spearheads the development of pharmacy and patient engagement initiatives, driving innovative solutions across the healthcare landscape. Demi Pressley is the Chief Pharmacist of Alive Pharmacy Group in North Queensland. She has over 10 years of community pharmacy experience including as a compounding pharmacist and medication review pharmacist. Demi is among the first graduating cohort of prescribing pharmacists in Australia and wrote Australia’s first ever pharmacist prescription. Demi has been involved with the Queensland Community Pharmacy Full Scope of Practice Pilot training delivered by James Cook University as a trainer for workshops teaching fellow pharmacists the skills necessary to deliver optimal patient care through the pilot. Demi began working with James Cook University as a tutor for all year levels when the undergraduate pharmacy degree became available in Cairns.

Mal Scrymgeour has degrees in Marketing, Economics and Management and has worked in senior Marketing and Merchandise roles for Cadbury, Coca-Cola, Shell and Mayne/Symbion, where he ran the marketing and merchandise functions for Chemmart. For the past few years, Mal has been Chief Operating Officer at Farmlands, a New Zealand Agricultural retailer where he was responsible for a $600m retail business with 82 stores and 650 staff. Mal has also consulted to the pharmacy industry for the past 20 years, helping pharmacies overcome profit and operational challenges including managing the impact of 60 Day Dispensing. Mal is a contributor for AJP every month alongside Bruce Annabel, with whom he released a book titled “Pharmacy Matters.” As a speaker, Mal blends his senior corporate background with decades of practical pharmacy experience and ‘boots on the ground’ knowledge to present to audiences in an entertaining and engaging way.

Tracey Seipel BNat, BSc, Dip Herb, Grad Dip DE, MNHAA, FANPA is a leading naturopath, medical herbalist and CEO of Seipel Group. Associate Professor John Smithson is a nurse and pharmacist, currently serving as the Head of Discipline of Pharmacy at James Cook University. He has played a key role in transitioning the undergraduate pharmacy program to a distributed model across three regional sites in North Queensland. Additionally, he has led the development and delivery of James Cook University's program to prepare pharmacists for the Community Pharmacy Scope of Practice Pilot in Queensland. Associate Professor Smithson remains clinically active and contributes to the advancement of pharmacy and interprofessional practice through his involvement academic and clinical work as well as various professional committees. His commitment to education and practice ensures that he remains engaged in the ongoing development of the pharmacy profession.

Ben Wilkins is an accredited pharmacist who is passionate about vaccination. Ben has been a registered pharmacist since 1994 and has been conducting Home Medicines Review since 1997. During his career, Ben has held positions as Digital Health Advisor/Clinical Reference Lead for Australian Digital Health Agency, non-executive director of Hunter Primary Care, proprietor of Eastern Road Pharmacy Turramurra, NSW practitioner member of the Pharmacy Board of Australia (Ministerial appointment 2015-Jan 2024), board member of Hunter New England Local Health District (Ministerial appointment 2019-2022) and director of ehealth coach (2019-2023).

A registered pharmacist for over 20 years, Georgina Woods has experienced a wide range of roles within the industry including community (ownership and employment), hospital, education, consultancy, board membership, mentoring and examining. Georgina has worked as a PDL professional officer and a professional officer for the Pharmacy Council of NSW, and is currently the Acting Director of the Assessments branch at the Health Care Complaints Commission. This role maintains oversight of the assessment of complaints involving registered practitioners, non-registered providers and health facilities providing health services in NSW. Georgina maintains a passion for the pharmacy industry has a keen interest public protection, education and current trends in health care.

Lauren Baker is a registered pharmacist with over 15 years of experience in community pharmacy. In her role as a Patient Experience Liaison at Arrotex Pharmaceuticals, she is passionate about patient-centric care and enhancing healthcare journeys. Lauren focuses on integrating healthcare programs into daily pharmacy workflows, optimizing procedures, and maximizing efficiency. Born in Sudan, Peter Bol migrated to Australia as a child, where he embraced the country's culture and pursued his passion for sports. After excelling in basketball and discovering a talent for running, Peter moved to Melbourne to train with renowned middle-distance coach, Justin Rinaldi. Bol's dedication led to his selection for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Beyond athletics, he is committed to mentoring, coaching and public speaking, aiming to inspire others with his journey of resilience and determination.

Emma Brown s a Director at RSM in Sydney and has over 10 years of experience in accounting, taxation and business advisory. Emma forms part of the Pharmacy Team at RSM and works with owners managing KPIs, understanding cashflow, and also works on acquisitions, ACPA and Council matters. In addition, Emma provides business advisory, accounting and compliance services to her clients. She is motivated by her clients being able to rely on her to take care of navigating the tax and financial complexities within their businesses and providing them with relevant information to enable them to operate their pharmacy efficiently and grow the business.

Aaron D'Souza is a community pharmacist, former pharmacy owner, business manager, accomplished speaker and industry leader who is passionate about driving the pharmacy profession forward. Aaron has received university awards and travel grants, has experience with government representation and has volunteered to promote HIV/AIDS education in Africa. He has played an important role in the development of pharmacy clinical service software and is now the Strategic Account Manager of Government Programs for MedAdvisor Solutions.

Jana Fulcher is a pharmacist with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, including her current National Business Manager role at Arrotex Pharmaceuticals. Initially starting her working life as a pharmacy assistant, Jana graduated from university and quickly progressed to being in various management roles in pharmacy and industry. Jana has a passion for sales and assisting pharmacies optimise their profit through developing and executing strategies in key areas such as dispensary, professional services & patient support programs.

Jess Hadley is a registered pharmacist with 15 years of extensive experience in community pharmacy. She has been a managing pharmacist, proprietor and group compliance manager. Jess is one of five PDL Professional Officers and is on the PDL Local Advisory Committee for New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, South Australia and the Northern Territory. Her areas of interest include Schedule 8, vaccination and proprietor legislation. Jess is passionate about supporting and educating pharmacists on risk minimisation and management strategies.

Dr Marianne Jauncey is a Public Health Physician who has been the Medical Director of the Uniting Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) since 2008. Within this role, Marianne has had significant influence within Uniting, the services and advocacy arm of the Uniting Church in NSW/ACT that holds the licence to operate MSIC. In 2018, Uniting formally decided to advocate for drug law reform and began their “Fair Treatment” campaign, designed to increase funding and access to treatment services, as well as achieve decriminalisation. Marianne was also integral to Uniting partnerships that have led to Australia’s first injectable opiate treatment trial, and NSW’s first drug checking service that began operating in April as a small research trial onsite at MSIC. Marianne is committed to ensuring Uniting MSIC provides unwavering support and meets the needs of its clients beyond supervised injection.

Simranjit (Simmy) Kaur is a registered nurse with four years of experience in disability healthcare settings and diabetes education. Simmy graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Nursing degree in 2021 and completed a post graduate certificate in Diabetes Education and Management from Flinders University in 2024. Her career includes various roles in various disability healthcare settings and diabetes education where she has honed her skills in team collaboration, communication, patient-centred care, and patient advocacy. Simmy is passionate about providing education and awareness regarding diabetes management.

Nina Krstic is the Executive Manager Health of Commercial Banking NSW for the Commonwealth Bank. Vanessa Lontos is an inspiring pharmacy leader, speaker and coach who empowers pharmacists to lead happy and engaged teams that deliver holistic health solutions and expanded pharmacy care. Vanessa has worked with pharmacy teams across Australia, delivering coaching and development in areas of patient engagement, solution selling, leadership, innovation, change management and building a culture of learning. Prior to launching her consulting business, Vanessa led the Learning and Development team at Sigma Healthcare. In 2010, Vanessa was a finalist for the City of Port Phillip Citizen of the Year award and won the 2019 ARCHI Award at Sigma Healthcare. Vanessa is currently a Learning Partner at THINKA, and a previous pharmacy owner of Clarendon Pharmacy.

Associate Professor Treasure McGuire is an experienced clinical pharmacist, pharmacologist, toxicologist, educator, and researcher. As Assistant Director of Pharmacy, Mater Health, SEQ, her team delivers pharmacology and therapeutics curricula to health disciplines across three universities. She holds two senior appointments in her clinical role: 1) Faculty of Health, Sciences and Medicine, Bond University (Associate Professor of Pharmacology) and 2) School of Pharmacy, The University of Queensland (Associate Professor, Honorary). Treasure has worked in a wide range of practice settings, with a special interest in women’s and newborn health, medicines information, medication safety and evidence-based healthcare in Australia, USA, and the Netherlands. Her research focuses on optimising patient care through quality use of medicines. She is a regular invited speaker at national and international conferences, with over 60 keynote presentations.

Kathleen Moorby currently serves as the Cyber Wardens Project Director, leveraging over two decades of experience in designing and delivering large-scale, complex programs across both the cyber security and health sectors. A highly motivated senior leader recognised for her collaborative approach with government and non-government stakeholders, Kathleen has a proven track record of implementing impactful national initiatives that significantly benefit the Australian community. Her achievements include spearheading the Australian Cyber Security Professionalisation Program (ACSP), the Australian Cyber Security Digital Ecosystem (AuCyberscape) and the Pharmacy Practice Incentives Program (PPI).

Monique Reyes is Principal of the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act Review. She was previously Director of the Pharmaceutical Regulatory Unit and Deputy Chief Pharmacist for the Legal and Regulatory Services Branch of NSW Ministry of Health, where she was responsible for administering the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966 and the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Regulation 2008. She was also responsible for the review of the Act and the Regulation and in November 2022, the new Medicines, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 2022 was passed in NSW Parliament. Monique’s goal is for the public to be protected from the risks and harms that may eventuate from the supply of medicines by pharmacists and other health practitioners. Monique is a pharmacist with over 30 years’ experience in both community pharmacy and hospital pharmacy settings.

Anne Seah is a highly experienced professional in the fields of accounting, tax, and business advisory, with a strong track record spanning eight years. Currently the Manager Pharmacy Services for RSM Australia, Anne is passionate about providing comprehensive and outcome-focused services to her clients and specialises in working with pharmacy owners to help manage their business performance and tax obligations and achieve a balanced commercial outcome.

Natalie Sirianni Director of Attain, one of Australia’s premier Pharmacy and Health Practice Business Brokerage services. An award-winning Business Broker specialising in Pharmacy and Health Practices, Natalie is also a licensed real estate agent and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Melbourne with majors in Actuarial Studies, Finance, Mathematics and Statistics. Prior to joining Attain, Natalie worked at Medici Capital in a number of roles including pharmacy and health practice valuations and research and statistics for the health industry. In 2018 and 2019, Natalie was the winner of the AIBB Specialist Business Broker of the Year in Victoria. Natalie’s goal is to provide pharmacy and health practice owners and aspiring owners with the highest level of service during the process of buying and selling a business.

Anthony Tassone is a community pharmacist and has been a proprietor of community pharmacies in outer south eastern Melbourne since 2006. He has been the Victorian Branch President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia since 2013 and is currently Chair of the Guild’s Health Economics & Policy Committee. Anthony’s pharmacies have been recognised for community engagement and customer service excellence at both a state and national level. Over the past decade, Anthony has served on a range of advisory boards for multi-national pharmaceutical companies and had advisory roles with State and Federal governments. He is currently a Director of the National Return of Unwanted Medicines Board. In 2019, Anthony was the recipient of the Holt Australia Day Award recognising his contribution to health promotion, primary healthcare and volunteerism in the community.

Luke van der Rijt is the managing partner of Uranquinty & Southcity Pharmacy in Wagga Wagga, which was the winner of the 2018 Guild Pharmacy of the Year. Luke is also Vice President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s New South Wales Branch and sits on the Sope of Practice Sub-Committee. Luke has led business improvement and embedded professional services in his business, leading to widespread health benefits across the entire region through partnerships and consultation with health services and specialists. Recently, Luke has been involved in the establishment of the Living Well, Your Way pilot, a local PHN and LHD initiative focusing on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) screening in pharmacy, with the aim to improve care for people with COPD and CHF in the community. Luke is also a member of the Murrumbidgee LHD Health and Knowledge Precinct which aims to improve the quality and accessibility of health care to the local community.

Natalie Willis began practicing as a pharmacist in 1996 and in 1999 entered into a pharmacy partnership. That same year she was elected to the Pharmacy Guild’s Western Australia Branch Committee where, as the current Senior Vice-President, she is focussed on advocating for a larger role for community pharmacy in the primary healthcare landscape. Natalie is currently in her second term as a Guild National Councillor where she serves as a member of the Health Economics and Policy Committee and Clinical Governance Committee, as well as the Chair of the Policy and Regulation Sub-Committee. She has been involved in ongoing discussions with Government on 60 day dispensing and will form part of the Guild’s negotiating committee for the 8CPA.
