Pharmacy Connect Convenor Kos Sclavos AM reminded potential attendees of this year’s conference that the event would kick off in only 100 days.
Pharmacy Connect, an annual event for pharmacists, owners, executives, students, interns, and industry representatives, will take place at the Hyatt Regency Sydney from 5-7 September.
This year’s event will have the theme of ‘connect today, shape tomorrow’ and will feature a two-and-a-half-day education program including pre-conference workshops, a 70-stand trade exhibition, a Welcome Reception and a Cocktail Party
Mr. Sclavos said that Early Bird pricing was still open until June 30 and that the conference program would be released in the next couple of days.
“Keep an eye out for the program release later this week,” Mr Sclavos said.
“This year’s program features a variety of topics to suit everyone – from pre-conference workshops on full scope of practice and harm minimisation to an update on 8CPA, a women in leadership breakfast, clinical updates and business sessions.”
Mr. Sclavos said that financial journalist and commentator Effie Zahos has just been added to the speaker lineup.
“Effie has more than 20 years of experience helping Australians make the most of their money and has a knack for making money matters simple.”
“She will address the Pharmacy Connect audience about the current state of the economy and how this impacts pharmacy.”
Mr. Sclavos also encouraged anyone considering attending to register and book their travel soon.
