Cybersecurity Workshop at Pharmacy Connect 2024

Pharmacy Connect 2024 is set to host an essential pre-conference workshop designed to enhance
cyber safety for small businesses on Thursday 5 September.

The Cyber Wardens Workshop session, subtitled ‘Small business cyber risks, red flags and the simple
strategies to boost your cyber safety,’ aims to equip participants with practical knowledge to
safeguard their businesses from cyber threats. Kathleen Moorby, Associate Director at 89 Degrees
East, will lead the workshop, sharing her extensive expertise in cyber security.

Pharmacy Connect Convenor Kos Sclavos AM said, “Kathleen Moorby brings a wealth of knowledge
in cyber security. Her insights will be invaluable to pharmacy owners and any small business owners
looking to protect their operations from cyber threats. This workshop is a crucial addition to
Pharmacy Connect 2024, providing attendees with practical tools to boost their cyber safety.”

Pharmacy Connect is an annual event that brings pharmacists, owners, executives, students, interns,
and industry representatives together. The event features industry and clinical updates, business
advice, and networking opportunities. Pharmacy Connect 2024 includes a comprehensive two-anda-half-day education program, pre-conference workshops, a 70-stand trade exhibition, a Welcome
Reception, and a Cocktail Party.

Kathleen Moorby’s session at the Cyber Wardens Workshop will be held on Thursday 5 September,
in Wharf Room 3 at 9.30 AM.
