Quit smoking with nicotine replacement – current recommendations explored
A new addition to the Harm Minimisation Pre-Conference Workshop program is a session on smoking cessation presented by Conjoint Associate Professor in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of New South Wales, Colin Mendelsohn.
A GP for 27 years, Colin now works as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist helping smokers to quit. He has a special interest in the use of less harmful alternatives to smoked tobacco for smokers who are unable to quit (tobacco harm reduction).
Colin will be providing a comprehensive look at the most current evidence and recommendations to help smokers quit and how you can employ this at your pharmacy.
For more details on this and other sessions to be presented at this workshop on Thursday 5 September, download the program below.
