National Student Business Plan Competition

An exciting feature of the Pharmacy Connect program is the National Student Business Plan Competition (NSBPC) finals, where each team will have five minutes to ‘pitch’ a business plan. Entries are judged on viability, research, business management, community engagement, innovation in professional services, financials, marketing and clinical health elements. The winning team will be announced at the Gala Dinner on Saturday night.

The NSBPC has been designed to encourage innovation amongst pharmacy students who will be the future owners of community pharmacies. The competition aims to assist pharmacy students in gaining the skills required to approach the task of owning or managing a pharmacy through the development of a business plan.
