Student Business Plan Competition semi-finalists announced
Five teams, from three universities – Auckland University, University of Technology Sydney and University of Queensland – have been awarded places in the semi-finals of the Pharmacy Guild’s National Student Business Plan Competition.
The competition is an Australia and New Zealand-wide challenge promoting creative entrepreneurship among students preparing for a career in community pharmacy.
The teams progressed to the semi-finals based on their innovative business plans, which included new-to-market services related to skin cancer and skin conditions, back pain, mental illness and pharmacogenomics.
The semi-final round closes in August, with the top three teams progressing to the finals being held at Pharmacy Connect. The winner will be announced at the Pharmacy Connect Cocktail Party on Friday 6 September.
